Today has been planned for a couple of weeks and I have to say that the good parts of it have so outweighed the bad. I finally got my hair cut. It’s once again as short as I like it and not covering the back of my neck and my fringe is back. The only problem with getting my hair cut at Super Cuts in Leeds on a Saturday is that if I’m not there before 10am I can’t guarantee that I’ll get it cut within an hour of arriving, and so I was there by 9:30am which meant I was done by 10:15am and had plenty of time to kill before meeting SP for lunch.
I wasn’t meeting SP until 2pm so I walked around Leeds, bought some wool and a Tess Gerritsen book in The Works and wondered around a few shops. I ended up going into the American Candy store in the Trinity Centre and once I was in there wondered what I was doing as I was surrounded by chocolate that I can’t eat at the moment. But I picked up a couple of things, including some Cinnamon Pop Tarts. I just had to avoid the fudge dipped Oreos that I love so much.
I also took some photos whilst in Leeds today, which I’ll put at the end of this post.
Once I met up with SP we went to Yo! Sushi and ate far more than I had any intention of eating, but it was good food, and I love the way the dishes come past on a conveyor and you can choose what you want. The cost of your bill depends on the colour of the bowls you’ve got stacked in front of you. The only downside is on the caffeine free soft drinks side I was left with a choice of Sprite or water. There really wasn’t enough of a selection of caffeine free drinks.
I’m starting to reach the stage where the cravings appear to be more mental than physiological and that’s good news. But sadly part of me is still wanting just a cup of Earl Grey. Currently the donations still stand at me finishing on Monday. If you care to help push me to Friday please please please donate.
